The overall objective of the project ’Enhanced Socio-Economic Status of Women in South Lebanon’ is to strengthen the socio-economic status of and economically empower women in the marginalized regions of South Lebanon, through enhancing the capacity of 180 female entrepreneurs and strengthening the institutional capacity of Kawkaba and Hasbaya Women Cooperatives.
The project is funded by European Union and targets female entrepreneurs living in the targeted regions, who already produce traditional products from home, who are willing and interested to participate and commit to the trainings and planned activities of the project.
